Because of the love of fishing and the love of art Michael can capture the
iridescent lit up excitement of a fighting fish at boat side. With
experience fishing the waters of the world, he has many references to the
coloration and the disposition of the fish. Michael takes great pride in
recreating a detailed fish mount that has an attitude. All of our molds
were created for clients that care about all the small details; thin fins
that are clear or opaque according to the species, natural poses, natural
looking gills, and seams that are undetectable.
The nice thing about fiberglass reproductions is that they will last a
lifetime and keep their beauty. It is a piece of three-dimensional art.
Your mount deserves to be hung at eye level as to be viewed and admired by
all. It will give you an opportunity to tell your story. It is also
important to light your mount, as lighting will enhance the brilliance and
beauty of it hand painted lifelike colors, used to bring fish back to
life.
You can restore a fiberglass mount if it has fallen, or if it was hung
outside. Also it is great for conservation, you no longer have to kill a
fish to have a mount. If we pursue putting the fish back we will always
have a future fishing, in the next few years and with our children and
grandchildren.
